My goodness, this boy was so sweet. He was awake and happy for practically his entire session. Knock on wood, but I’ve had a run of easy newborns lately. I love it when I’m able to get some with their eyes open and alert. (The trick, for those curious, is patience. Newborn sessions can take hours. Don’t rush it, and you’ll be able to get a little bit of everything.)

He and his older brother are October babies and wore matching Halloween clothes for a couple of shots. I’ve never seen anyone in cobwebs look so cute.Love those toes!I had to include this one in his preview, because of that leg. Every time I’d get him into a different position, he’d want to kick one of his legs out straight. It was cracking us all up. It turns out, his uncle was a kicker for Texas Tech, so I had to make sure I included one with that leg kicked out, just in case this little dude follows in his footsteps. We ended up putting a little Texas Tech hat on him, and he immediately peed all over it. So maybe he’s an Aggie.
