If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll recognize the name Preemie Prints; it’s one of the organizations I volunteer with. If you’re a photographer and interested in helping with donating your photography skills, I’d love to talk with you about my experience and get you connected with them directly. However, if you are interested in donating your time and energy in other ways, here is some information from their website:
“We need volunteers to donate preemie hats and to help with other handmade projects. Many large groups can get together to sew & craft for NICU babies. Please contact us if you’re interested! We are also looking for volunteers to help with our 4th annual Little Monsters 5K and Angel Baby Butterfly Release.”
If you don’t already volunteer your time with an organization you love, this is a great way to give back and help families going through or just beyond a difficult time in their babies’ lives.
So, my most recent session was a “graduation” shoot. I love to celebrate how much these little ones have progressed since their time in the NICU. For this session, it was a hot and humid and sticky morning in Old Town Spring, but as you can see, this little four-month-old peanut was just as happy as could be. And if it isn’t very obvious, this Momma and Daddy are head-over-heels in love with this little one.
Of course you know I have to have a shot of Momma and little bit loving on each other.
I bet this sweet girl has never had a picture taken, whatdya think??
And, one more because she’s so stinkin’ cute. I was always sure my kids’ first sentences would be: You are so cute. I’d be willing to bet this little one hears that a lot, too.
Mom and Dad, congratulations on having your baby girl home and in your arms. Thank you for a lovely morning, and I will have the rest ready for you as soon as I can.
Love, Andrea
A millions times thank you! I love them so much and can’t wait to see the rest!
The pleasure was all mine. Happy first set of holidays with your little one. I’m sure they will be extra special this year!
