Do you have any family travel traditions?

When we go to Pensacola Beach, we get Beach Pops practically every night.

Well, okay. Every night.

When we go to Galveston, we always hit Jimmy’s on the Pier on our way out of town–get the onion rings. And grab a coffee from the coffee bar from downstairs for the drive home.

When we go to Panama City Beach, we go to Kilwin’s at Pier Park. Get the toasted coconut ice cream.

Noticing a trend around food/desserts? All bets are off during vacation, I always say.

The kids’ favorite tradition is that they always get to pick out a souvenir–and, of course, a few seashells always manage to make it home. What does your family do? This super adorable family has a travelling gnome who makes it into at least one of their travel photos. I thought I’d take him down to their dock for a fancy sunset pic. 

So, we set up this family’s shoot many months ago when my former bride asked me if I knew a good photographer in Panama City Beach. Um, hello?? Take me, take me!!

These two fellas always make sure to get in some fishing time while on vacay, so I had to snap a few for them. 

You probably know one of my passions is supporting small business owners, so I have to give a shout out to my favorite doctor. Dr. Hatch is the primary chiropractor at Sunrise Chiropractic Clinics. And isn’t his wife so gorgeous??This is the first time I’ve shot these two. So adorable, right?? There was this super cool little boardwalk walkway down to the beach that was so perfect for pictures. Remember these two from their anniversary session or from their wedding from more than two years ago? It’s gone by in a blink for me. But they are just as cute together as ever. After we were done at the beach, we headed back for s’mores and sparklers at their deck. Super fun!
