Happy November!! Are you ready for the craziness of the next eight-ish weeks? Hold on to your hats, because I can hear the jingle bells from the mall from here. Really. The tree is already up at Market Street. Can I tell you a little secret about me? I might be a teensy weensy bit of a grinch. Just kidding. If you know me at all, it’s no secret. I’m a bit of a mega-grinch.
- I’m a summer kind of gal. I like it warm. Give me hot and sweaty over shivering any day of the week. So, that means if it’s cold outside, I’m already cranky.
- I’m treading water as best I can keeping my house clean, dinner cooked, business working, and children and husband alive to the end of the day. Who is the world has time to add in tree decorating and cookie baking and present shopping and wrapping and carol singing? I’d rather just watch Elf and then go to Hawaii for a week and come back when it’s a new year.
BUT, since I’m a mom and wife to a non-grinch, I shall do my best to fake the holiday spirit. When does Gap come out with their matching family sweaters? That just might do the trick.
Kids!! Let’s go to the mall.
Back to the point of this whole post. If you’ve followed me for a while, then you’ll surely recognize these two cuties. We met for their annual Christmas-card-family-session, so I can’t post any family pics. So, I thought I’d show some closeups of the kiddos, because those are always my favorites.
Hmm, how about some warm sunshine on a chilly day giggling and snuggling in momma’s arms with the promise of donuts after this? Yes, please!
Oh, this big sister. She keeps getting bigger! She’s officially a mini-version of her beautiful momma now.
Lovely family, you know I love you! Thanks for a great Sunday morning. And thanks for the patience with this wacky weather. Start looking at Christmas card templates, because I’ll have the rest ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
