It’s Tuesday night, so you know I’m up late working on my preview from Saturday’s shoot. This past weekend, we had a blast with a cake smash for another set of twins. They are turning one, and I’ll be shooting their upcoming birthday party, so more to come on that.
So, there were babies and balloons and cakes everywhere, and we were getting everyone in and settled to get ready, and I turned around and saw this doll. It was love at first sight. Seriously, her beauty took my breath away. And then? It turns out she’s even sweeter than she is pretty. She was longing for the leftover pink cake at the end of the session. This was the last frame I took. Too cute.
We had wardrobe changes and props and sets and the whole nine yards. It was a blast. In between some family pictures and some cake smashing, this handsome man needed a little bit of sugar and cuddles from his beautiful momma. I love, love, love this one.
And we can’t forget about our other sweet twin! She was so stinkin’ cute. I mean, that dimple? Is it the cutest?! The good news was that I was able to get her attention with a set of jingle bells. The bad news is that the bells soon became her best friend, and it was a little tricky to get them back from her. We were able to get them back from her for a second to get this one. Don’t you love her #1 chevron onesie and leggings? Their momma did the best job at picking wardrobe for the whole family.
Sweet family, I think that was the most fun, organized chaos I’ve had in a while! Thanks for the fun. I can’t wait to see you at the party!
Love, Andrea
