This time of year, I don’t schedule many newborns, because I’m so crazed with family holiday sessions. But, I just couldn’t wait to meet this little one and do her newborn shoot. You may remember her from her gender reveal at Burroughs Park. Well, she’s here and she’s gorgeous!
I just adore her sweet pink skin on the gray. Precious. This little one was such a great model for us. She only peed on Daddy once!
Ah, the proud parents. It was so sweet to see them taking care of this tiny little thing. It was such a reminder of when my husband and I were parents for the first time. I did my best to pass on our lessons learned…about getting this baby to sleep anyway. Although, I think the entire world has heard me whining about how I could never get my girl to sleep, so perhaps I should not be giving out advice, after all.
What a beautiful family. Can you believe you’re parents now? Isn’t it amazing how life can change so much in just one day? I don’t think I’ll ever not be amazed at this whole giving birth thing. I must have been a midwife in a former life.
Those of you mommas-to-be reading this and planning your own newborn sessions, please, please, please consider getting in the pictures. So many times my sweet mommas don’t want to get in the shot (I totally get it–I’ve had two babies), but you will have plenty of time to fix your hair and makeup and change out of your spit-up-on shirt. I promise. Don’t let your baby miss out on capturing this love! Thanks for a lovely morning, sweet parents. I hope your baby girl is letting you get a few minutes of sleep! I’ll have the rest of your pics ready for you soon. Have a wonderful first Thanksgiving together.
Love, Andrea
