Oh, how I love a newborn shoot. It’s my “baby fix,” for sure. This little peanut is 11 days old and couldn’t be sweeter. She has the most beautiful soft pink nursery that looks like it’s right out of a catalog, so we had to make sure to get lots of pics in there. Don’t you love this one of Daddy and his two babies?
Big Brother is such a rough and tough big boy. He and my son are friends, and I just can’t imagine my 3-year-old with a newborn right now. These boys are in such a tough-guy phase. There’s nothing delicate about anything they do. But this big bro was so sweet with his new baby sister, though. At one point, he said “I love you so much” to his sister. Is there anything sweeter than seeing your children together? After we took lots and lots of pictures and swaddles and outfit changes and diaper changes and nursing and burping and more diaper changes, I finally set her free to be scooped up into Momma’s arms–exactly where she wanted to be. How perfect are all those little baby parts? I just want to hold her again!
I was looking back to link to their last session, but I remembered they did a mini-session. These are from their family session from last November. Their beautiful momma was only a few weeks pregnant, so it was sweet knowing their next family picture would be of all four of them. Can you believe you’re a family of 4 now? (5 if you count your puppy. I know you don’t want to be one of those mommas who abandons her first fur baby.)
Thank you for a fun afternoon, sweet family. It’s wonderful to see you, as always. Congratulations on your newest addition! I’m so happy for you. I’ll have the rest ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
