It’s a crazy weekend of shooting for me, so I had to get home last night from this shoot and start working right away. Oh, my–there are so many great images, I just don’t know how I’ll ever narrow it down. If you are ever worried about how the kids will act or you want the shoot to be as stress-free as possible, it’s always a great idea to have it at your house. And if getting the house extra clean adds stress to your life, leave it messy! Don’t worry. And don’t forget, I am a work-from-home/stay-at-home mom with two small children. I will send you pictures of my certainly messy house before I come to make you feel better. :) Plus, there are probably 100 beautiful spots in and around your home you never realized would be perfect for pictures.
So, I came to my client’s gorgeous home, and we just let the boys run around and be crazy and have fun. We took pictures everywhere–in the front, in the back, with the dog, in the house, by the pool, and we walked down to the water and saw some beautiful sky. How handsome are these two? And the beautiful colors of their skin and clothes and sky? Yes, mom and dad had a hand in that, but that’s what the golden hour will do for you. It makes everyone look even prettier than usual. Do you see the boys holding hands? Love. This little dude is 15 months, so Momma wanted to make sure we got some extra pictures of him at this stage. I find that it’s hard to get pictures of just you and the second baby–there was so much time with the first, so I just adore these two. And this little guy probably wins the award for the being the best little giggle box ever. Really. I think he even trumps my little giggler.
Ah, I love my job.
Sweet family, I really had a blast with you. Your home was such a beautiful backdrop for family pictures, and I think your boys had a lot of fun, too. Thanks so much for a great evening. I’ll have the rest ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
