Happy Fall! This beautiful momma and I were watching the weather for days before this shoot. When we started looking, it was literally freezing outside and scheduled to rain. Fast forward a week and by the time we started the shoot, it was 80 degrees and muggy. We didn’t have any sun rays, but overcast weather can be a great way to get good colors. Don’t you love these trees at Burroughs Park? It’s not always easy to find fall foliage down here.
This big brother is 18 months and little bit is 6 weeks. Big Bro was such a doll with taking pics with his new baby brother. I would ask him to hold him or kiss him or touch him; he would, and then we’d let him run free for a minute and then come back and take another picture. My photo shoots with toddlers are sort of a catch-and-release style.
Ok, this one is more for me than the family. I really love the rich colors. But, I really love seeing them as a family of four. You wouldn’t think it would be, but having a second kid is almost as shocking to the system as having a first. However, when you can zoom out and look at your life, a new family of four is pretty cool.
Thanks for a fun morning at the park! I’m so glad it wasn’t freezing or raining on us. :) I’ll have the rest ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
Andrea, the color is fantastic, but I really love the close-up of the two boys. Big brother’s eyes are caught well. As usual, excellent work!
