This sweet little family of five and I spent a late afternoon at Memorial Park this past weekend. The temperature was warm and the sun was lovely–you can tell it’s on the verge of becoming officially hot. (I finally broke down and turned on the air conditioning at home yesterday…a.c. is my least favorite part of living in TX, so I’m sure mine is the last house on the block to turn it on.) However, I will say, Thank you, Houston, for the best sunset light!
Of course I love the ones where everyone is looking and smiling, but some of my favorites are the candid moments. They were talking about what they were going to do after the shoot, and they were all excited to get home to dig into Grandma’s famous chocolate cake she had made for M’s birthday. He’s just turned 12, and I think he’s officially taller than his sweet momma. See below. :)
I LOVE this!
Wow. When does the day come when your teeny tiny baby is taller than you? It seems impossible, but then I guess you blink, and it happens.
I sure had fun running around with you, sweet family! Thanks again for a fun afternoon at the park. I’ll have the rest ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
