This little man is 1! I can’t believe it. I did his newborn shoot almost exactly a year ago and many milestones in between. He had a little bit of cake leftover from his “The Hungry Caterpillar” birthday party–just enough to get him sweet and sticky and adorable.
My goodness, he and his sister have the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes. I think his momma is secretly taking him to get eyelash extensions every 3 weeks. :)
Get ready for some cuteness. These are their Halloween costumes. Little Bo Peep and her sheep. She loves her little brother and put her little hand on top of him. What a sweetheart.
I sort of love the effect and artistic idea of this one. Little brother is finally big enough to walk and stand on his own and isn’t a baby anymore. Big sister is behind him, but doesn’t have to hold him up. That’s kind of how I feel about my kids as I watch them grow. I’m still there at the playground ready to help when they hold their hands up for help, but they don’t really do that anymore. Yes, this is how ultra nerdy and quixotic, but this is what I think about when I watch my daughter trying to go play with the big girls at the park and when I go on photoshoots with my favorite clients.
So, the bad news is that our baby plan is over for this man. However, the good news is that I’ve instructed these parents to have eight more kids (they obviously make very beautiful and sweet children), so we can start over with the next one! Get on that, won’t ya?
Thank you again for such an easy and fun shoot. I really do love watching your sweet kids grow. I’ll have your gallery ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
