You may remember this gorgeous family from their photo shoot from last November at Memorial Park in Houston. We met at Rice University (both mom and dad went there) for this year’s shoot, and I was so excited. 1. I couldn’t wait to see them again–I love to see how my clients’ kids have grown over the year, and mom and dad are pretty cool, too. :) 2. I’m a crazy, super-school-nerd and love to check out university campuses. 3. I’m always on the lookout for new photo shoot locations, and this one was just beautiful.
I LOVE this photo of their youngest. She looks so stinkin’ cute running and smiling in that dress and those adorable red cowgirl boots in that beautiful golden light.
This little dude was busy taking pictures of me taking pictures of him–he’s already got “chimping” down solid (that’s what it’s called when you check the screen after every shot).
There are so many cool architectural elements on the campus that are great for pictures. This arch was so beautiful, and the light was just glowing for us. I’m sure it feels like home for them because it’s their campus, but when I look at this, it reminds me of Europe and taking family shots in front of castles and in beautiful courtyards. Love it.
I had a great time on our shoot–your kids are as sweet and fun as ever! I have so many cute shots for you. Start thinking about what kind of shots you want for your Christmas cards. I can’t wait to show you the rest, and I’ll have them ready for you soon.
Love, Andrea
