I had a fabulous shoot with a former client last weekend. What a wonderful surprise to hear she’d had another baby…I couldn’t even believe it because I couldn’t believe it had been long enough for there to have been an entirely new person created in the time since I had seen them last. Here’s their family shoot at Mercer last year. My goodness, where does the time go?

So, their new addition is a precious baby girl, and she was a superstar. I am loving this little hint of a smile she’s giving here. Adorable!Her big brother is as sweet and cute as ever. It was so fun to see him learning new words and getting so big. He was very kind and gentle to his baby sister and was patient enough to take some sweet pictures with her. I have the typical picture with him kissing her sweetly on the head, but I thought this would be a sweet one to preview. You can tell how careful he’s being, and I love that her eyes are open. I always try to get a combination of sleepy and awake pictures of my newborns. How precious is that little man’s hand on her back? And I love that mom is wearing her beautiful wedding ring, too. To quote my baby girl when she saw this: “She has such a cute widdle ear!”I always love it when moms let me take pics of their newborns outside, because it’s so hard to get such beautiful coloring when you’re inside. She has a little hint of a smile here, as well. What a trooper she was, because I think she was pretty sick of me messing with her at this point. I think she’s going to have a great personality, momma!Thanks for a great shoot, and congratulations on your sweet babies.
