How beautiful is this baby girl? She just turned one, and her momma wanted to make sure she had an official one-year picture. I am so in love with this first one–if she were mine, this would be the one hanging on my wall! After the official shoot was over, her parents tolerated me walking them to their car and getting just a couple more, because you know I’m a nut for some sunset backlighting. I’m so glad they did, because the rain clouds parted and gave us some lovely evening light.

She is so close to walking, and her new favorite trick is to show everyone how she can stand up on her own, which is what she was getting ready to do here. What a precious time. Love it!Her first birthday party had a shabby chic, Marie Antoinette theme, and her sweet momma made most of the props. The clock is set to the to the time when she was born. Yes, I am that cheesy-pie. :)

What cuties these girls are! I love that you can tell how much in love she is with her baby. So sweet.

I really love this big belly laugh and those two tiny teeth. It’s so fun to watch parents try to make their kids laugh. It always cracks me up, too, because it’s so funny to me that one little tiny being can make three grown adults act like big, crazy goofballs to try to get a laugh.

I love all of the details of this one.
