This beautiful momma and I are wonderful friends. We grew up together, were college roommates, she was one of my bridesmaids…I love her. So, you can imagine how excited I was to hear she was expecting her second baby!

He finally made his appearance, and I was oh-so-thrilled to meet him and take his pictures. He’s just the sweetest little nugget you’ve ever seen, and I loved getting to hold him. He wasn’t fussy at all, but I love it when the newborns need just a minute of cuddling before positioning them for pictures–it’s how I get my baby fix. :) He was very cooperative and such a good boy. I hope he’s always a great sleeper for you!

I think it’s pretty cool that we both have an older daughter and a younger son. Can you believe we’re mommas? We’re so grown up. :) And look at those gorgeous eyes. 

I can never resist those sweet baby feet!

So, I always love the sleeping babies posed on the bean bags. However, my very favorites are the ones with the mommas holding their newborns. I don’t think there’s anything more tender or gentle or sweet. Now, it always takes a little convincing, because at the same time, I can’t imagine those same tender mommas feeling any more unattractive than they do a few days after giving birth. I protested those pictures of myself at those times. But, I’m so happy when they let me do it, because look how beautiful these three are together. Love. And, he was even smiling! I have an even bigger smile picture for you, but I love the way Big Sister is cautiously looking on in this one. Ah. He is perfection.
